Latest BBC x Reebok Question Low Colabs Recall Classic Streetwear Graphics
The continue their collaborative run with , further highlighting the recently revived . This time, BBC have dug into their very deep graphic-laden archives to apply some of their most memorable patterns onto the mid-90s basketball shoe.
These Sk8thing-designed graphics are definitely a throwback to different times, with the ‘Beepers and Butts’ edition recalling obsolete tech that was once a massive flex. Originally known as the ‘Pager’ print back in 2005, here it’s transferred onto the Question Low’s grey leather and mesh upper. While contrasting green ice soles and lining add pops of colour, which can be further intensified by switching in the extra blue laces that match the midsole’s Hexalite units.
Meanwhile, the ‘Name Chains’ motif, also from the class of ’05, nods to the individual-affirming and declarative nature of the custom jewellery. It adorns a very pale pink variant of the Question Low, whereby contrasting darker pink soles, secondary yellow laces, and gold graphics signify a women’s size run. Also, if you look closely, you’ll spot references to A.I., aka Allen Iverson, whose first signature sneaker is this model.
The ‘Beepers and Butts’ and ‘Name Chains’ Question Lows will release on October 22 via BBC, before getting a wider drop on Reebok on October 30.
