Live Images of the Nike Air Max 95 OG ‘Neon’ 2020 Retro
The celebrations aren’t stopping anytime soon, with the in OG ‘Neon’ livery arriving fashionably late to the party. Despite plenty of rumours, speculation, and reference photos of earlier retro editions, the Internet has finally been blessed with live images of the 2020 edition. The pics have been shared by regularolty, who comes from the OG sneaker forum era, so the intel is reliable.
At surface level, there isn’t much to report beyond the fact Nike are definitely trying to make AM95 reissues increasingly accurate to the original, and there are plenty of details they haven’t overlooked. The 2015 version reintroduced the period-correct split-tone shoebox, which is reprised here. On the colour front, the ‘greydient’ upper appears more pronounced on the 2020 retro, with clear tonal transitions from near-black to light grey across the upper strips. Even the correct shade of ‘Neon’ is going to be scrutinised by passionate trainerspotters – it’s looking closer to the yellow end of the spectrum, which arguably is a touch brighter than previously. But this can’t be confirmed until the shoes are in hand.
The Nike Air Max 95 OG ‘Neon’ 2020 retro is currently slated to return to retail on December 17.
