LOEWE's New 'Sneaker' Brings Morrocan Tradition to Streetwear
Spanish luxury brand LOEWE are shaking up the definition of ‘sneaker’ by bringing Moroccan tradition to streetwear. This Dinosaur Sneaker takes construction from LOEWE creative director Jonathan Anderson’s favourite Moroccan slippers and slams it on a cushy foam midsole.
Like a with a trunk, the toe of these Dinosaur Sneakers curves up just as ‘crakow’ shoes did in the middle ages. Back then, the toe signified social status; size mattered, while longer extensions equalled higher clout. That rule might not apply today, but maybe it’s time to bring it back?
If you think so, head over to where you can grab these from 9am EST on August 15.
