London Underground X Nike Air Max Collection
Train seat patterns have mystified man since the dawn of locomotive travel. Public transport companies have a habit of going buck wild with their upholstery, usually installing some sort of kaleidoscopic magic eye pattern that you would definitely stick your forehead on and walk backwards if it wasn't so dirty. London's Underground 'tube' is fond of this aesthetic too, and are belatedly tipping their hats to their seat designs from the 80s with a new Jacquard and double pack. The result is a trippy red, black, brown and yellow print inspired by – the Jacquard weave really works for a colour combo like this. We think Nike even hollered at the London Underground for these too, the 'Roundel' logo sits pretty on the tongue tag. The London Underground x Nike Air Max collection debuts December 14 at select retailers.
