Lookbook: The Basement x Nike Air Max 90 ‘Real People Do Real Things’ Glasgow Release
Internet sneaker community The Basement give us an on-foot look at the first release from their upcoming ‘Real People Do Real Things’ collaboration. The colourway takes creative cues from Glasgow, Scotland, paying tribute to city’s ‘rebellious, joyous, forward-thinking community’.
The palette is tastefully reserved, as water-resistant deep grey materials and durable heavyweight ripstop are used for the upper. Inspired by the iconic traffic cone placed upon the head of the Duke of Wellington, a plush leather safety orange tongue, retroreflective Swoosh and heel tab add just the right amount of spice to the mix.
This ‘Glasgow’ colourway will precede renditions based on Manchester and London. You can cop via raffles at END, size?, SNS, Footpatrol, Hanon, Wellgosh, 5 Pointz, and Selfridges (Offspring), with Nike SNEAKRS in Europe also receiving pairs. Pencil in October 5.
