Louis Vuitton Partner with (RED) to Fight AIDS
French luxury house are again linking up with non-profit AIDS charity (RED) to raise money for the fight against the immunodeficiency virus.
The second collaborative effort together, the Louis Vuitton I (RED) will serve as the canvas for their partnership. Manufactured with luxurious white leather, the uppers are embossed with the legendary atelier’s logo, while vibrant red accents provide a nice visual hierarchy to the silhouette.
A variation on the silhouette that introduced back in his maiden show for Louis Vuitton in 2018, the sneaker has lost none of its allure today, the vibrant red and white palettes still craning necks on and off the runway.
Founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver in 2006, (RED) seeks to engage the private sector in order to eliminate the presence of AIDS in eight African countries. So far, the charity has generated over $650 million USD in the fight against AIDS, while also providing a huge support network with the recent COVID-19 pandemic.
Launching on World AIDS Day (December 1), $200 from each pair of the Louis Vuitton I (RED) will be donated to the charity.
