Vans Pay Tribute to Mac Miller with ‘Swimming’ Authentic

Vans have just announced their latest special collaborative release, in honour of the late Mac Miller. Together with the Mac Miller estate, Vans have curated a dedicated Authentic to celebrate Mac Miller’s legacy, in particular Miller’s fifth studio album, Swimming. Commemorating the fifth anniversary of the album, Vans have adorned the silhouette with a number of details across the uppers and soles.

Constructed with black canvas and featuring the classic Vans white outer stitching, the toebox has been printed with the Yin-Yang symbol, along with circling text that calls out to the album: ‘Swimming by Mac Miller’. Then along the midsoles you’ll find block text reading: MAC MILLER 1992 TIL ∞ Rounding out the special collaboration is a specialised toebox featuring coloured gradient and bespoke graphics. Vans have also stated that portions of the proceeds will be directed to the Mac Miller Fund, a non-profit organisation that offers a range of resources, programs and opportunities for kids who are from underprivileged communities. The organisation aims to help them to reach their full potential.
