It's Mache or Nothing With This 'Backyard Bowl' Colourway
is no stranger to bringing iconic colourways to his own sneakers, the Mache Runner and Mache Runner v2, and the latter is now taking inspiration from the KD 4 ‘Nerf’ from 2011. This isn’t the first time Mache has worked with the Nerf colourway, as he has previously used the hues on customs including on the Nike LeBron 9 and the ‘Un-Nerf’ KD 4 back in 2012.
Mache has dubbed this take on the Mache Runner v2 as the ‘Backyard Bowl’ colourway, with deep blue and grey making up the majority of the upper as neon green and bright red accent the sneaker. Spraypaint vibes are front and centre on the sneaker, used on the liner and overlays, with Mache’s branding seen on the tongue and outsole. The black EVA midsole uses white paint splatter with red and neon green making up the outsole to finish the sneaker. The Mache Runner v2 will also come in a special box, dust bags, and a Vortex-style whistling football with Mache’s branding.
The Mache Runner v2 ‘Backyard Bowl’ will be open for pre-order for 72 hours on February 9, 2024 via machecustoms.com, retailing for $325. Check out the photos above and hit the link below to purchase.
