Mache Debuts the Mache Runner v2 With a ‘What the’ Colourway

Mache has established himself as one of the premiere sneaker customizers in the sneaker game and bet on himself to create his own sneaker in 2020, the Mache Runner. After vaulting the Mache Runner after the ‘Jedi’ colourway that dropped in May, Mache is debuting the Mache Runner v2, going backwards by kicking off the rollout with a ‘What the’ colourway.

The Mache Runner v2 takes a slimmer approach this time around and has brought elements of the 27 colourways of the first Mache Runner to the sequel, bridging the past and present. DNA from the first Mache Runner have made their way to the v2, such as the two cross stitches on the lateral side as well as Mache’s signature branding on the tongue. The mismatched sneaker uses an array of materials and patterns throughout, and Mache invested in his own EVA foam tooling, which doesn’t sacrifice the comfort of the first Runner. Finishing off the sneaker is a grey outsole that features his signature on the outsole.

The ‘What the’ Mache Runner v2 will be open for preorder on June 23, 2023, via machecustoms.com, retailing for $290.
