Martine Rose Is Rumoured to Bring Back the Nike Air Max Craze

As well as being one of the most exciting names in menswear right now, has been dipping her toes into footwear for quite some time. Hailing from London, Rose was recently appointed at UK-based , but her influence has been recognised on a global scale thanks to her ongoing collections with . Having put her spin on models like the and the , Rose is now playing on her penchant for vintage Swoosh silhouettes as she looks to bring back another retro gem: the 2001 .

The Craze may be one of Nike’s more obscure models, but it makes sense for a comeback given Nike’s current retro push. In a similar fashion to the , the Craze also features a shrouded, zip-pull-fastened neoprene upper. However, the Craze is almost akin to a mule in terms of its silhouette – but it's saved by a chunky strap that surrounds the otherwise open heel. Underfoot, the Craze features both heel and forefoot Air units.

Though there are no images of the upcoming collaboration yet, the news comes courtesy of Complex’s Brendan Dunne. It also has a style code, and is tipped for an AW25 release, with an in-line version also expected to join the fold. Stay locked for more info as it comes in!
