The ,Vans' much-loved high-top and vital piece of shred shoe history, began life as the humble 'Style 38' in 1978 and is still kicking and screaming 36 years later. Vans are having a little tearful nostalgia session and shining a light on the silhouette by dropping a big stack of 'em in new designs, and both the lads and the lasses are well attended to. Da bois get waxed canvas, abrasion-resistant XTuff and suede dressings in myriad colourways, but we reckon the real winners are the girls. While we're not particularly down with the platform steez for ourselves, galaxy, polka dot and old timer blaring shirt steez prints make us plenty jealous.
