Migos and Versace Take the Chain Reaction to Another Level

Remember the days when Versace’s Chain Reaction was the most extra shoe you’d ever seen. Oh, the folly of youth.

The luxury brand has joined forces with Migos to take the hulking sole and make it even more outrageous. The rappers have recently taken to the stage wearing the shoe, named the Chain Reaction ‘Sachee’, while on tour with Drake.

The bulging chain link sole is topped with the same clashing motifs of the original, but this time with a more 90s graphic approach. Street Fighter-esque Versace branding hits the midsole, a lace shroud is locked down with contrasting stays, and a nylon collar looks like it’s fashioned from Baywatch uniforms. And each wears ‘Sachee’ written on the heel strap (Sachee, Versace. Get it?).
