Pixel Perfect: Minecraft x adidas Handball Spezial ‘Enderman’

The success of Minecraft knows no bounds. Since its launch in 2011, the video game has amassed an astonishing 204 million monthly active players and sold over 300 million copies worldwide, cementing its place as one of the bestselling video games of all time.

are once again venturing into the world of Minecraft for their latest video game-inspired collaboration, this time taking inspiration from Endermen, one of the most legendary and mysterious mobs in Minecraft. First introduced in version 1.8 Beta, the Endermen are known for their eerie behaviour, distinct appearance, and unique mechanics

The Endermen now invade the classic Handball a classic sneaker originally designed in 1979 for handball players. Manufactured in clean black suede, which serves as a sleek canvas to explore Minecraft-inspired details, the Handball Spezial features pixelated TPU stripes instantly evoking the visual characteristics of the sandbox-style video game. Minecraft logos replace the traditional ‘Spezial’ branding on the lateral sides, while the back tabs mirror an Enderman’s face, complete with his signature purpose ‘eyes’, a motif that also appears on the tongues and square lace dubraes.
