Miu Miu Drop Their $695 New Balance 574 Colab

Miuccia Prada​'s Miu Miu isn't a brand that most sneaker lovers keep close tabs on – if they're watching anything Prada-related, it's probably the Prada x adidas colabs – but Miu Miu turned more than a few heads during its SS22 runway show last October when they sent an unexpected New Balance 574 colab down the Parisian runways. Now, nearly four months after the rough-hewn sneaker was first spotted it's been made available for pre-order.

Popping up on the Miu Miu website this week in tan, navy and white, this fresh take on a New Balance classic features a full denim upper with raw-cut frayed detailing on its seams. According to Miu Miu, this design detail is 'part of a construction process exposed to underline the spontaneity of these actions'. Besides its denim dousing, the Miu Miu x New Balance 574 features super-sized tongue tags with co-branded detailing and even black 'scuffs' on the ENCAP midsole.
