Update April 26, 2022: Shortly after Zion Williamson and Jordan Brand teased a forthcoming Naruto x Jordan Zion 1 collection, the offerings have been revealed. In its entirety, the collection contains three special takes on Williamson's first signature sneaker – the 'Kyuubi,' the 'Sage of the Six Paths' and the 'Nine Tails' – plus an unnamed silhouette that looks like the Jordan Point Lane (a popular in-line model) and special apparel inspired by key pieces of Naruto lore.
The 'Kyuubi' will release on May 11, while the 'Sage of the Six Paths,' the 'Nine Tails' and most of the apparel will be dropping on May 18. Check out all three of the kicks above, and read the original article below for more info!

In his Instagram post announcing the collection, Williamson mentioned that the offerings are inspired by the 'parallel paths of overcoming adversity' that he shares with the show's titular character. Jordan Brand chimed in as well, with a tweet that shared the same graphic and simply said 'the Shinobi way' in its caption, nodding to the show's array of ninjas. There's a good chance that this collection will serve as the Zion 1's swan song, as the was revealed in recent weeks and Williamson has been seen training in it as well.
For his part, Williamson is an avowed anime fan. In a 2019 in-game interview while Williamson was dominating the collegiate ranks at Duke before being drafted #1 overall in the 2020 NBA draft, his mother Sharonda Sampson even revealed that she and her son in their spare time!
