Needles and Reebok Celebrate the Instapump Fury
One sneaker that’s been quietly celebrating its 30th birthday is the ! Originally touching down in 1994, the Bok’s legendary model has made a name for itself with an ahead-of-its-time construction and classic Pump system. Already this year we’ve received the , a handful of crisp colabs, and now rounding the year out is a Needles collaboration. Japanese brand lives under the Nepenthes umbrella, which is spearheaded by Keizo Shimizu.
‘We’re eager to enter the next chapter of our collaboration with Reebok, which has now spanned over five years,’ said Shimizu in a press release. ‘From our initial three-way collaboration with to now, we’ve consistently reignited excitement in the industry with our fresh takes on classic styles’.
Needles have been in a consistent relationship with Reebok for five years now, most notably helping resurrect the iconic back in 2018 and again this year. Following that, this duo have crafted a two-pack of Instapumps that has been primed to drop this November. Both come correct in a black or beige, nodding to past colabs, alongside premium leather and their classic butterfly branding across the upper.
‘This iteration of the Instapump Fury 94 reflects our dedication to reimagining these classics while showcasing the juxtaposition of American and Japanese shapes and fabrics. The athletic essence of these shoes adds a distinct touch to fashion, making this partnership not just about style, but about offering a new way to experience footwear,’ Shimizu added.
You can cop both colourways of the Needles x Reebok Instapump Fury on November 14 exclusively through the Japanese brand’s channels. Don’t fret if you miss out though, a wider release through select retailers and Reebok will kick off on November 21.
