The New Balance 1500 ‘Granite Grey’ Celebrates 35 Years

New Balance are celebrating a massive 35 years of their perennial 1500 silhouette and have been going full-grey on a plethora of new iterations. Earlier this year, we received the official anniversary pair but there’s also been plenty of follow-ups that have equally excited the dedicated NB fanbase. The next celebratory iteration to land has been dubbed ‘Granite Grey’ and it has just opened for pre-order in Japan.

This latest iteration comes correct with all the usual specs you can expect from a MADE in UK pair, coming correct in a plush nubuck with added leather and mesh. The deep grey colourway stays true to the Boston brand's roots, with added navy and red kits. Embroidered branding comes through along the lateral and medial tongue, complete with midsole branding.

A release date for the New Balance 1500 ‘Granite Grey’ has been locked in for October 3, although a pre-order is currently live on New Balance Japan’s webstore.
