Next up from the New Balance Japan crew is an exclusive , which celebrates the model’s gigantic 35th birthday. So far, NB have kept the legendary silhouette’s anniversary parties to a few tasteful soirees, including a classic grey anniversary edition and a handful of ultra-luxe MADE in UK colourways. The latest JP edition is no exception, with New Balance using a tried-and-true colourway. The upper has been crafted with a luxe nubuck that was locally sourced and an ultra-smooth leather. Completing this special edition is a custom box and dust bag with Made in Japan branding.
New Balance will be launching their Made in Japan 1500 ‘35th Anniversary’ exclusively in Japan and the brand’s Harajuku brick-and-mortar on November 28. There are also three indigo-dyed iterations that will be given away to lucky myNB members who have achieved platinum rewards program status.
