New Balance’s 2002R silhouette has risen to great heights ever since it was resurrected from the archive back in 2020 thanks to collaborations with the likes of Salehe Bembury. A cult running shoe from the 2010s and known for its high-quality construction, the 2002 was reworked following its comeback 2 years ago, hence the name change to NB2002R.

Now, it’s become a GR staple within the brand’s catalogue and following a slate of colourways the silhouette has been decked out in a quintessential Y2K outfit! In a cool way, the design has it looking like a running shoe your dad used to wear, with the base layer dressed in white mesh. Leather panelling in white and metallic silver give off the 2000s vibes while an extra Nergy logo has been placed inside the existing ’N’ branding.
