Update March 23, 2022: If you live Stateside and are looking to scoop the 'murdered-out' New Balance 550 then you're in luck! The triple black pair has been loaded on to New Balance's USA web store and will release on March 23.
The was by in 2020 and since has become a mainstay within the large New Balance catalogue. The past two years has seen the silhouette’s ascension from unknown 80s basketball sneaker to highly-coveted GR behemoth, and just like all General Releases at some point, they’re going to eventually be murdered-out!
No longer is it triple black activity, it’s now triple black New Balance 550 activity with this iteration that’s actually available to cop right now! The build has largely been unchanged, the whole upper has been constructed using leather with slight perforations along the lateral and medial. A change however comes through on the tongue, which has been dressed in a slightly wider mesh than usual. The colourway is ultra-stealthy, the whole shoe rocks a dark shade of black while grey covers the midsole. A nice touch!
