New Balance MADE in USA Season 2 Rolls On With the 990v2

New Balance’s collection continues its growing number of releases with the imminent arrival of another 990v2. This model has grown in prominence and numbers since Teddy Santis took over creative director duties for NB’s domestic offering, and now there is a colour for everyone. Up next is a rich, pink–purple number with plenty of throwback tones.

Suede and mesh are more or less a non-negotiable for a model of this calibre. The combination has been a mainstay of the brand for decades, too. This very berry pair sticks to two-tone purple for the majority of the upper, saving a few key accents for tasteful insertions of sunshine yellow. There’s some additional contrast via creamy tongues and midsoles, the latter of which provides a conduit for more purple hits on the visible ABZORB technology.

This 990v2 will be available from New Balance on January 12.
