Release Details: New Balance 990v3 ‘Olive Leaf’

It’s been another huge year for New Balance’s iconic 990 series. Reinvigorated by Teddy Santis’ creative direction, the 1980s runner and its various modern guises like the V2 and V3 have received some stunning remixes this year.

With three Teddy Santis-curated NBs dropping in August, the Boston imprint look set to continue the momentum for the rest of 2022, with the upcoming ‘Olive Leaf’ colourway expected to land this week.

Manufactured in its classic pig suede and mesh uppers, the model again features ENCAP midsole cushioning that combines lightweight foam with a durable polyurethane rim. In terms of composition, the colourway is inspired by the original Trail 555, although it also bears resemblance to Stray Rats’ signature green-and-purple combination.

Premium synthetic suede sockliner completes the design.

The New Balance 990v3 ‘Olive Leaf’ lands on September 9, 2022. The item is limited to one per order.
