The New Balance 990v5 Pops in Violet and Purple

There's nothing like rocking a pair of New Balance in classic grey, whatever the model is. But sometimes you just have to pop a bit of colour into your outfit with your sneakers – case in point for this NB 990v5 in question. Recently the silhouette released in a significant iteration, with ties to Black History Month, which became apparent in its product code (M990BH5) and its black and gold colourway.

Moving our focus to this violet and purple number, it's been constructed with a suede and mesh upper, moving down you'll find ENCAP midsole cushioning and a blown rubber outsole. In terms of colour, the shoe is predominantly violet, with purple hitting the heel section, met with a white outsole. Branding can be found in the usual spots, including the tongue tabs which indicate its Made in USA status, and the lateral heel signifies its series.
