Since the initial launch of the New Balance 990v6 in grey, we haven’t received a new inline colourway. Action Bronson and New Balance dropped their collaborative 990v6 earlier this year but a new general release colourway is on its way, this time in a simple and clean black colourway.

A Black mesh upper makes up the base of the sneaker with black and dark grey suede on the overlays. Different shades of grey accent the sneaker throughout, with the N branding featured on the quarter panels on the medial and lateral sides. 990 badging is placed on the tongue and lateral heel with ‘NB Made in USA’ branding printed on the heel counter.

FuelCell replaces ABZORB on the white and grey midsole, giving cushioning and energy return while reducing weight of the shoe. Lastly, a black and grey rubber outsole finishes off the sneaker.

The New Balance 990v6 ‘Black’ is set to drop on April 7, 2023, in men’s and women’s sizing via New Balance channels and at select retailers for $200 USD.
