New Balance Launch Duo of Autumnal 991s
Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2021, the continues to be a perennial choice for hardcore runners, fashionistas, and dad-shoe enthusiasts the world over. A favourite among the prestigious 99x series, the 991 originally hit shelves in 2001 as a modernised version of the classic 990. Loaded with ABZORB tech (in both the heel and forefoot) and a sleeker toe box, the 991’s outsole also featured the new Ndurance rubber compound for the first time –adding durability and minimising wear and tear.
The New Balance 991 model has now arrived in a duo of autumnal classics rendered in hairy suede and classic mesh, both colourways arriving via the Boston brand’s Manufactured in their iconic Flimby factory, the ‘Ponderosa Pine’ and ‘Bruschetta’ colourways are available right now in multiple sizes for $260.
