The New Balance 991 Honours the Heritage of Harris Tweed
has certainly been receiving quite the number of makeovers this year and we're glad to say that they're keeping 'em coming.
Earlier this year in September we saw the silhouette get all and now this latest iteration seems to follow a similar blueprint. This time the focus is on becoming even more winter appropriate, as it was inspired by the landscape of the Outer Hebridean islands of Scotland.
The iconic heritage fabric – Harris Tweed – can be seen in its underlays, alongside premium nubuck leather in chocolate brown. You'd think that the tweed would be stealing the show here, but really the overall combination of the shoe's textures and colours is the real masterpiece. Down below you'll find the subtle two-tone midsole decked out with comfort-enabling tech.
With the 991 celebrating its this year, what better way to get amongst the festivities than adding this pair to your rotation? Get ready to do so by the end of this week, as they're set to land on November 27 via New Balance UK.
