New Balance 999 (Black/Red)

As some of you may know, we’re partial to a 900 series with a good dose of red and black. The before you is another strikingly proportioned example – boasting a black upper brought to life with a red toe box complemented by accents on the aglets, heel and tongue. A chunky ABSORB midsole flares up towards the heel and the N branding is shadowed with a hint of grey. But the colourway isn't all there is about on this NB. The laces and canvas on heel have been amply applied with wax to round out the build, making for a shoe that leaves less heated contenders looking like a candle in the sun.
