The New Balance 2002R Pays Homage to a United Arrows Classic
Paying homage to the iconic x (one of all-time favourite collaborations), the latest New Balance adopts a stone grey base with hits of purple and pink.
Originally released in 2009, the United Arrows x NB997.5 was first glimpsed on the feet of Kanye West during London Fashion Week, where the sneaker sparked intrigue and hype among fans of Ye and Poggy – the creative director of retail powerhouse United Arrows & Sons. The sneakers also debuted alongside a more classic variation of the NB997.5, United Arrows adopting the ashen grey hues emblematic of the Boston imprint.
For its part, the New Balance M2002RWB is manufactured in premium perforated suedes in place of the classic mesh panels, with volts of pink and purple accenting the 2002’s infallible design DNA.
