have increased their roster of basketball athletes, following a big deal and an ‘internship’ for Darius Bazley, by adding Dejounte Murray to the list.

The San Antonio Spurs player announces the move in a wry video saying ‘I know what you’re thinking. Is that Dejounte Murray, professional basketball player and hair icon?… I’m also here to tell you, I’m with New Balance now.’

Murray’s first shoe with NB will be an . Done up in Spurs colours, the sneaker has been dubbed the ‘Light Out’, and will hopefully foreshadow his shooting stats this season. Check New Balance stores when the shoe launches on December 4, and view Murray’s inaugural NB commercial below.
