New Billionaire Boys Club x adidas Hu NMD 'Astronaut' Dropping Soon
has done very well to sustain the for the past five years, which is an impressive longevity for new sneaker models. Part of its ongoing popularity can be attributed to the numerous collaborations that opt for the ubiquitous mesh-bootie-meets-BOOST-sole sneaker, some of which are with – another brand closely associated with Williams.
This sort of industry standing and internal nepotism enables the multi-hyphenate carte blanche access to all sorts of material and colour options that more GR NMDs are not afforded. This Hu NMD is blanked with a ribbed knitted textile cover plunged into a lovely shade of silvery blue. In turn, the resulting vintage spacesuit material is an appropriate texture and shade for BBC’s astronaut motif to be embroidered across the insteps. The graphic also appears on the heel tabs in place of the usual adidas branding.
Looking elsewhere you'll find the usual trimmings that define the Hu NMD. BOOST midsoles come standard, and the distinct forefoot and heel blocks are rendered creamy beige and slightly translucent blue respectively. The customisable lacing grids on the sides of the shoe are also shaded blue to match, which are locked down with subtly flecked hiking-style rope laces.
Raffles for the BBC x adidas Hu NMD are open now on END. ahead of a November 20 release.
