New Samples Could Preview the Future of Yeezy Basketball

basketball season is getting closer to tipping off. After tweeting a mocked-up sketch proclaiming Yeezy Basketball shoes were coming in 2019, and telling Chicago’s WGCI radio that he was in talks with higher-ups about new designs, is producing samples previewing Yeezy’s on-court future.

First shared by Nice Kicks, this sample is a subtle change from what we . The translucent, BOOST-housing midsole is still in play, as is the toe-box construction, but the heel looks to be reworked with heat-wielded layers, and the collar no longer has a neoprene bootie. The colourway comes in a safe ‘Triple Black’, but the build opens the doors for all sorts of Yeezy-centric colourways.

Yeezy Mafia report that this is a ‘previous’ sample, meaning the design has since changed. Stay tuned and we’ll let you know when it leaks.
