Nice Kicks and Reebok's New Hurrikaze II Low 'Jam' Is Full of Retro Flair
Shawn Kemp was one of the most ferociously athletic players of the 1990s, a, well, powerful power forward for the Seattle Supersonics – and, for the last two years of the decade, the Cleveland Cavaliers – who slammed and jammed his way through , becoming one of the league's most electrifying players and a fan favourite in the popular NBA Jam video game series. Now, and are honouring Kemp's on-court and in-game legacy with a new colab.
Fittingly dubbed 'Jam,' this low-cut sneaker is dressed in a mixture of black, purple, teal and red. Its signature details are provided by its hi-vis reflective overlays with static print, the printed midsole graphic and a custom Nice Kicks hit on the reversible tongues. Kemp's signature also appears on the medial side of the heel, and custom insoles round off the look.
One of the very first Hurrikaze II Low colab since the sneaker was in March (older Reebok fans remember it as the ), the Nice Kicks x Reebok Hurrikaze II Low will hit Nice Kicks' webstore and brick-and-mortar locations come July 7. It's also accompanied by a full collection of co-branded apparel.
