Pro BMX rider dropped one of the most impressive collaborations this year with the Now, it looks like he’s ready to switch gears with an Low reportedly set to arrive next year. According to reports, the collaboration will be dubbed the Air Jordan 1 Low OG ‘Nitro’ and will feature colour blocking of sail and black, with red accents throughout. Unfortunately, no images have surfaced online, but speculative mockups are already appearing on social media.

Of course, this wouldn’t be the first time Sylvester took a ride with legendary debut sneaker. Back in 2018, Sylvester’s oil-stained Air Jordan 1 cycled to the top of several ‘best of’ lists. In 2022, he also teased an exclusive black version of the design that unfortunately never made it to retail. After the initial collaboration, sneakerheads had to wait a long, long time for a follow-up – six years, in fact! So a quick-fire follow-up from the Air Jordan 4 would be a welcome sight for fans of the Jumpman and Sylvester.

Back in 2021, Nigel Sylvester became the first BMX athlete ever to sign with Jordan Brand, marking a historic milestone for the sport. ‘The Jumpman is a way of life,’ Sylvester said during an interview with the Jordan Brand. ‘It’s a mindset that represents courage, determination and community, amongst so many other things. The Jumpman is a constant evolution that inspires millions around the world.’

Unfortunately, there's no specific release details as yet, but make sure to keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates.
