Japanese streetwear luminary is back in the mix, teasing a fresh new take on his collaboration with Nike. Reimagining the cult classic 1988 silhouette, this latest version features crisp white faux crocodile leather wrapping the mudguards and overlays – bringing luxe texture to the classic hoops shoe. Balancing the boldness, smooth and perforated leather panels appear on the midfoot and toe box, offering a clean contrast for sneaker connoisseurs. Up top, a gold Swoosh graces the tongue, adding a subtle splash of opulence.

After years of cheeky imitation, Nigo officially joined forces with Nike in 2024 – a poetic twist of fate that followed hot on the heels of the brand’s legal victory over BAPE for copyright infringement. This latest teaser marks the fourth colourway in Nigo’s Air Force 3 lineup, although there are reportedly several other colourways on the way in 2025. Previous drops include a candy-coloured, BAPE-inspired palette, along with more grounded earthy brown and tan renditions.

As for the model itself, the Air Force 3 was a rowdy hardwood hero during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Beloved by NBA bruisers like Moses Malone, and David Robinson, the AF-3’s bulkier build and durable exterior made it the go-to for players doing the dirty work down low.

Word on the street is Nigo’s latest Air Force 3 will hit shelves in the coming months. For a deeper dive into his wild journey with the Beaverton brand, make sure to explore how Nigo went
