have rejigged the this year as a low-cut tweak to the boot edition that debuted a couple of seasons ago. As parts of the world enter warmer weather, the model opens up to brighter colourways that’ll pop in these hotter climes. One such edition coming soon is this ‘Canyon Purple’ that is vast in depth.
It seems like the ACG Mountain Fly Low SE is made to be highly visible with its strongly saturated combos to date. They definitely highlight the rugged materials used on the model, namely a combination of heavily gridded ripstop nylon, welded mudguard seams and overlocked ankle collar stitching. The tonal colours also stand out against the stark black lace hardware, which has been modified from the original iteration to feature webbed loops both on the sides and top of the upper, ensuring lockdown across the entire foot.
The undercarriage hasn’t changed much if at all since the debut of the model. If it ain’t broke… keep the same React midsole. This is imbued with propulsive Flyplate hardware hiding inside, which is also held together by the Trailframe underneath. The nod to 2000s ACG heritage is also completed with the supposed inclusion of the brand’s special ‘Sticky Rubber’ compound for the outsoles.
Keep an eye out for the Nike ACG Mountain Fly Low SE ‘Canyon Purple’ in coming months – not that they’ll be hard to miss.
