This Nike Air 180 Asks ‘Why So Serious?’
announced that they retooled their legendary late last year, causing mass hysteria among IYKYK Air heads. Despite the retro remake, the model adorned by sneakerheads still hasn’t broken into the mainstream market. This hasn’t deterred Nike though because plenty of GR colourways have been coming through, including the latest that has been unofficially dubbed ‘Joker’.
The affectionate nickname comes from the green and purple mix that’s iconically aligned with the Joker. The entire upper, comprised of mesh and suede, has been blacked out with the small addition of a white Swoosh. The outsole, laces and window have been covered in neon green, whereas the heel tab and Air unit have been covered in purple. This isn’t the first time sneakers have looked to the Joker for inspiration, as recently the rocked a themed build and adorned the in the colours in 2019.
