Official Images: Nike Air Flight Lite Mid ‘Gorge Green’

Another classic basketball sneaker from Nike’s 1990s catalogue, the Air Flight Lite Mid was originally called the Air Flight Lite II.

One of the lightest hoops sneakers on the market at the time, the Air Flight Lite was known for its all-over perforations, velvety materials, and ultra-plush collars. Of course in the engine room down below, it was also packing Nike’s much-vaunted Air cushioning system.

Fans have been waiting a long time for the return of the throwback hoops sneaker, and the colourways have been rolling out in a steady pace in 2022.

Nike continue to celebrate the sneaker’s 30th anniversary this year (the model originally landed in 1992) with the ‘Gorge Green’ colourway, the Boston Celtics-like colourway perfect for any fans in Massachusetts. Composed in ‘White’ and ‘Gorge Green’ colour blocking, the Air Flight Lite Mid features prototypical design language, like the ‘Flight’ logo on the lateral heel and tongues and graphic inner lining.
