Nike Air Force 1 City Pack Visits Shanghai
City Pack continues to jet-set across the globe, stopping by key cities to inspire the iconic Air Force 1. So far, we’ve seen editions spanning Las Vegas and Paris, with Seoul and Shanghai next on the itinerary. Today, we have a closer, official look at the 'Shanghai' edition, the mixed material blend a homage to the third largest city on the globe.
First up, we have ‘Light Crimson’ patent leather on the toe boxes and quarter panels. This is contrasted against the thick ‘Flax’ nubuck overlays that really emphasise the material diversity. Elsewhere, the sole features a semi-translucent gum, while the Swooshes are rendered in black ballistic fabric – just in case you need some more material variety! The backtabs also utilise the same fabric. The Air Force 1 ‘Shanghai’ is also replete with special details. This includes black star lace dubraes with cut-out Swooshes below and intricate red stitched patterns on the inner tongues. A similar graphic pattern is also stitched on the inner heels. Finally, Nike Air branding is embroidered on the heel tabs and also appears on the tongue tags.
Currently, no official release details have surfaced, but the Nike Air Force 1 ‘Shanghai’ is expected to land over the coming months for $150. As always, keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates.
