Don’t Sleep on the Nike Air Force 1 ‘Linen Linen’

The original ‘Linen’ released as a Japan exclusive in 2001 and has remained one of the most sought-after grails for Force fiends around the globe. By the mid-2010s, many pairs had blown out due to age, but redemption came in 2016. The unicorn colourway was placed back on shelves for global consumption thanks to , who launched pairs exclusively to their then-new Miami location. Almost a decade later and Nike decided to resurrect the ‘Linen’ once again as part of their Cult Classics series, and now they’ve repurposed the iteration to craft the ‘Linen Linen’.
When word first emerged around these, the community were dubbing them ‘Linen Canvas’, as the entire upper has seen buttery leathers swapped for a rugged canvas-style fabric. Other than that, the hues stay pretty true to its forefathers, with a brown tone making up the base, white midsoles and pink splashes on the Swoosh, outsole and ‘Air’ logo. While these bad boys won’t cause a stir like the OG, the ‘Linen Linen’ is a nice daily driver option for those who don’t want to scuff up their grail.
