Serena Williams Design Crew Presents a Gilded Nike Air Force 1

The latest pair of kicks from Nike and the Serena Williams Design Crew is here! Focusing on the Air Force 1, this pair is embellished with details highlighting Williams’ illustrious career. It’s not the first time both parties have come together to whip up an AF-1 – a white pair dropped earlier this year, featuring lace shrouds with gold zips.

For the second coming, a bold purple hue washes over the textured leather uppers and is matched with icy outsoles. There are also plenty of gold embellishments – a nod to Williams’ championship achievements – that hit the heel tabs, zips and tongue tabs. Extra details can be found on the tongues, with script reading, ‘A collection created to inspire change and move the world.’

According to Nike, Williams’ goal with these AF-1s (and the larger collection) was for future generations to look and think, ‘I can do it too.’
