Nike Slithers Through with an Air Force 1 'Year of the Snake'
In keeping with the annual tradition, are preparing to honour the with a special edition pair. One of the models in this year’s collection is the ‘Year of the Snake', which is set to release in early 2025. Appearing in a tan upper, the design is highlighted by snake-inspired accents and cultural reference points.
While the base is subtle, it is set off by several eye-catching features. Among these are the embroidered patterned tongue and back tabs with a scaly red leather Nike Air tongue tag and the golden lace dubraé. Official images also show off a squiggly red stitch on the swoosh mimicking a snake trail and what appears to be three sets of laces. With the AF-1 ‘Year of the Snake’, Nike offer a neutral and easily wearable sneaker with unique elevated elements.
