As students gear up for the new school year, are turning up the excitement with their latest sneaker release. The GS, is set to join a stellar lineup that includes the black Spider-Man Dunks and the glow-in-the-dark Lows, but it’s not all that it seems.

What was once a muted white and grey make-up becomes a sea of colour thanks to a playful display of UV-reactive artistry. With the sun’s rays, the Swoosh morphs into cerulean blue, while the eyelet strips unveil a striking yellow. The tongue proudly showcases blue rubber branding that is embellished with ‘Sunny Sports Club’ and a trophy graphic flanked by a floral crest, exuding a retro sports charm. Flip to the side and an illustrated sun smiles back at you, and the ‘Thunder Blue' lining offers a tranquil touch that is juxtaposed with a pine green back tab. Anchoring the design is the ‘Sail’ midsole, and the navy tread provides a classic grounding to every step. Completing the cool experience is a hangtag with the playful note, ‘kicks reveal true colours when exposed to UV’. And the metallic pouch? It’s the perfect touch for your next cop, ensuring these sneakers are as much about the look as the story they tell.

The Air Force 1 GS ‘Sunny Sports Club’ is now available to buy from select retailers, and pairs are also likely arriving to the Nike website in the near future. For $110, these are the perfect back-to-school kicks.
