Nike Air Griffey Max 360 (Chosen One)

It's a darn shame baseball cleats are such ugly beasts under a pair of jeans, cos there have been many characters from the great game that could have spawned some unique signature shoes. Lucky for us though, Nike saw past the constraints of pairing playing shoes with athletes and gave Ken Griffey Jr his own Air line. This latest Air Max 360 model reps Griffey's colourful personality perfectly, with a tongue and insole on one of the sneakers bearing the illustrated likeness of Griffey's yacht, which was dubbed the 'Chosen One'. There's a ton of other details going on here too, with a very Florida-feeling colourway believed to be inspired by a yacht stop-over in Fort Lauderdale when Griffey shacked up in the Chosen One instead of hooking up with his team mates at a hotel.
