The is never far away from making sneaker headlines, especially in 2025 where it’s experienced a plethora of builds and a recent x Air Max 1 colab. Making news once again, Nike have employed their 1987 Air Max to help the Dutch celebrate the national holiday of Koningsdag. Dubbed ‘King’s Day’, this iteration celebrates King Willem-Alexander’s April 27 birthday and comes correct in a tonal brown upper, Dutch orange accents and subtle heel detailing.
