Nike Air Max 1 Pack Channels the Pompidou Centre
Known for its controversial high-tech architectural style (which was derided upon its opening in 1977 and later acclaimed for its colourful elements and exposed structure), the Centre Georges Pompidou ended up being the source of inspiration for original .
Now is bringing things full circle and dropping a special pack of AM1s as a nod to the French complex. Here one pair rocks the blue, green, red and yellow of the building’s infamous tubing, while the other model comes dressed in grey and silver as a nod to the exoskeleton. Both of the pack’s releases pay homage to the multicoloured tubing within their icy outsoles to go along with a special ‘P’ logo.
