Nike Unveil the GORE-TEX-Equipped Air Max 720 Horizon

is getting a winter-ready makeover before 2019 comes to a close, with the latest addition to the AM720 lineup: the Horizon.

According to the Swoosh, the new silhouette is inspired by technical winter jackets, while its colourways are a nod to 'the morning-to-night light transition across the summit of Mount Hood, Oregon’s highest peak'. While the familiar AM720 unit provides the cushioning, an aggressive traction pattern has been added along with waterproof for the bootie-style upper, and a moulded web-like overlay for support.

While Nike have yet to announce release info for specific colourways, the Horizon is currently on tap for a November 1 debut. Stay tuned for more info, as well as a closer look at the design ahead of the drop.
