The Nike Air Max 95 Gets Flipped! Two Colourways Land Exclusively at JD Sports

Since its inception in 1987, Nike’s Air Max technology has been featured on thousands of sneakers, with the Nike Air Max 95 still standing the test of time almost 30 years later. The Sergio Lozano-designed sneaker has been a staple for sneakerheads throughout the years, as the layered panels allow the Swoosh to continually bring new and imaginative colourways to the table. This year, they're keeping things fresh by taking classic Air Max 95 colourways and flipping them on their heads, with the ‘Reverse Neon’ and ‘Hyper Turquoise’ colourways landing exclusively at JD Sports.

The ‘Reverse Neon’ 95 uses a grey suede base and fades up to black, using neon lace loops and accenting throughout to bring a new twist to the classic ‘Neon’ colourway. In a similar fashion, the ‘Hyper Turquoise’ fades up from white to grey, as the titular shade brings a pop of colour and contrast to the greyscale sneaker. Revolutionary at the time, the Air Max 95 featured an Air Max unit in the heel and forefoot, which still holds up for comfort and cushioning today.
