Nike Air Max 95 (Yankees)

Just when you think you’ve got a second to catch your breath between Nike’s colourway releases, they pitch another one at ya. This time, a New York Yankees-inspired scheme wraps the shoe, beginning with a timelessly chunky navy blue sole unit, and transitioning upward through the model’s wavy layers from dark grey, to silver and into white and crisp mesh to finish. The stacked overlays look especially fresh on the heel, calling to mind the 105-year-old pinstripes of the most recognisable sports uniform in the world.
