The Nike Air Max Plus ‘Aqua’ Recalls 2018 Colourway
The (aka TN) has inspired a devout, cult-like following over the course of its 26-year lifespan. Originally designed by a rookie designer, Sean McDowell, in the late 1990s, the TN was adopted en masse in stylistic enclaves across Europe and Australia in the new millennium. Known for its collection of pupil-popping colourways and region exclusives, the TN catalogue is vast.
The latest colourway to join its coveted catalogue is the Air Max Plus 'Aqua', ostensibly a follow-up to the classic ‘Bleached Aqua’ of 2018. Featuring a purple and teal gradient fade across the mesh uppers and iconic midfoot shanks (lovingly referred to as the ‘whale tale’ among sneakerheads), the colourway opts for pristine white mudguards, TPU cages and midsoles for distinction. Featuring the iconic Tuned Air cushioning, the TN features multiple strategically placed Air units to enhance support for runners.
There’s no official release date from Nike, but make sure to keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates.
