Visible Air cushioning made its debut in 1987's Air Max 1 runner, captivating the public with its revolutionary exposed suspension. The Swoosh wasted no time incorporating the platform into other models after this immediate success, introducing it into just about every sport under the Swoosh umbrella. One such design was the : a 1995 football model made famous on the feet of Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino.
Nike have resurrected the tough turf terror after a stint in the archives, returning it to shelves in 49ers colours. The clean colour combo is rendered with an impeccable blend of leather, mesh and suede for tantalising tonal variance.
